Join Us in Preserving Railroad History!
Are you passionate about history, railroads, or hands-on restoration work? We're looking for volunteers to help us restore and maintain the historic equipment that once powered the railroads of the Heartland. Though our signature project is the restoration of Great Northern #1355, we are always expanding our reach with new and exciting projects, and we need your help to make them a reality! Whether you’re a dedicated railfan, a part of the railroad industry, or simply someone who values preserving the past, we welcome all who are eager and spirited!

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and skill levels. Our current team comprises individuals from all different walks of life and brings decades of craftsmanship to the table.
